About Robin |
Welcome to the website of Robin Mullet. Robin, originally born and raised on the shores of Lake Erie in Oregon, Ohio, writes short fiction, poetry and non-fiction articles. A member of the Ohio Poetry Association (OPA), Academy of American Poets, and the Society of Childrens Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), she is most proud to be one of the Pentapoets, five women writers who are each other’s biggest cheerleaders and most productive critics.
Robin has had poems published in the OPA journal, Common Threads, the Ohio Poetry Day Best of 2011, and was a finalist in the New River Press 2013 American Fiction Prize for her short story, "Blind Horse", which can be found in American Fiction, Volume 13. Her non-fiction articles have been published in such publications as Wild Bird Magazine and Hobby Farms. Short fiction and poetry are her favorite forms because they provide a snapshot of the seminal moments of our lives. She lives in the woods of Eastern Ohio on the edge of Appalachia with her beekeeper husband and her deaf dog, who has taught her resiliency. |
